I’m Liza, a lifestyle and family photographer

I never knew I wanted to be a photographer.

I got my first camera at fourteen years old. It was a simple point-and-shoot camera and I used it to shoot everything, but still I never really considered it photography. When I was older, I gained an interest in film, which reignited an interest in taking photos as I learned more about camera techniques, but still, I wasn’t quite there yet. It wasn’t until I was looking into graphic design that I ended up taking an introductory photography class that changed my whole world.


I love photography, I’ve always enjoyed taking photos, but now, thanks to the mentorship I received from the most amazing professor I could have asked for, I am confident that I am a photographer. In my portfolio you will find some of my favourite photos I have taken. I am really passionate about finding a story in the everyday world, and I hope that comes across in my photos.

Fact 1

I was born in good 'ole Sault Ste. Marie but I moved around (a lot) growing up.

Fact 2

I went to school for film originally, but I also took a design course, and I've done some marketing as well.

Fact 3

I am a homebody, there's not much I love more than being snuggled up, nice and cozy

at home.

Fact 4

I have three cats, and I love each and every one of them. Even when they wake me up

at 6am.
